Review of Arm and Hammer Slide Litter for multiple cats. Today we’re reviewing the Slide litter by Arm and Hammer. Arm and Hammer claim he slide litter does not stick to the bottom of the box and slides right off. We’ve been using it for about 2 weeks and we have rather large top entry litter boxes. Compared to other litter first impressions, it does still stick to the bottom of the box but it slides off when you touch it with the scoop so it’s not so bad. So I’m going to be cleaning this litter box to kind of show you. I don’t really care for the consistency of the litter, it has these tiny little granules.
The Smell….is not roses
The smell of the litter itself before you pour it in the box is pleasant. As my cats have used it, the odor kind of stays because the litter is fine. In the video, those little granules just get stuck in the tiniest of places which mean those little granules are also all over my floor.
The inside of the litter box the bottom is pretty clear where the cats have scraped off, so it doesn’t look too bad. There is a consistency of the clumps and that it goes right through the sifter which is nice. Not much is left in the litter box and the rest of the litter box is fairly clean. This litter claims to slide right off, but I did have to kind of work at it a little bit, it’s pretty effective.
It works…but is it my favorite?
All in all I think that the Arm and Hammer slide litter works pretty well. At the end of the day we give it a 5 out of 10. The odor after use is not as good as some of the other traditional odor-absorbing litters. Try it for yourself and see what you think and let us know in the comments.
