What types of litter are compatible with SiftEase?
Any type of litter that fits through a scoop - clumping, clay, or crystal/silica (PrettyLitter). Some customers have used SiftEase with pine and wood pellets, however we recommend pouring in small amounts at a time to ensure pellets sift through.
Does SiftEase require cleaning between uses?
The SiftEase is designed for easy maintenance. Both the sifter basket and bin are easy to wipe down and sanitize as needed. We recommend scraping any clumps stuck to the litter box prior to sifting and cleaning the litter box before pouring litter back in.
Does the sifter basket clog with large amounts of litter?
SiftEase is well known for its durability. The deep 8" basket is the most efficient sifter design on the market and sifts quickly without clogs. Occasionally, the sifter may need a little shake to help keep the flow of litter moving through the sifter.
Is assembly complicated?
SiftEase is simple to assemble and comes with straightforward instructions and helpful tips. Unlike complicated automatic self-cleaning boxes prone to costly malfunctions, SiftEase has no moving parts, and gets the job done faster and more reliably.
Does SiftEase come with a litter box?
No, SiftEase is a stand-alone unit that separates the sifting from the litter box, making it a cleaner and easier process. This makes the SiftEase compatible with any litter box that your cat prefers! But stay tuned for new products from Clean Litter Club.
