Read about this system and decided to purchase as I was looking for an alternative to using a litter scoop. Had tried the much acclaimed pine pellet litter box and the cats wouldn't use the litter box, despite me trying everything I had read and saw on YouTube. Refused to purchase an expensive litter robot. So, back to trying to find something that would make "dipping" cat litter faster, easier and cleaner for myself as well as for the cats. Had read reviews on this Litter Sifter and decided to give it a try. Oh My Goodness--I love this concept! Makes for an easy and quick way to deal with the dreaded chore. The size of the sifter is good and helps keep the litter last longer and I like how it is rectangular shaped. No more worries about accidentally flicking litter everywhere with a regular litter scoop. Our litter boxes are in a furnace room on top of heavy weight plastic so any stray litter that might be flung out by an over exuberant cat can easily be swept up. I dump the "waste" into a plastic bag-lined old kitchen trash can. The item is sturdy, and easy to put together and seems like it will last a long time. My only advice is to be sure you use a HARD clumping litter that slides easily, or wet clumps might break up and "sift" back into the "clean" litter. The quality is better than what I had imagined. If you have super picky cats that will not use some of the more expensive litter systems out there, then give this a try. Yes, I had read on how to make my own litter sifting system, but I'm so glad I didn't go that route. Even our grandson's now don't mind dealing with this chore when asked. This works the best for us.

We can't praise this enough! It made cleaning a litter box so much faster and easier. Bought for the hubby since that is his daily chore. He really appreciates the ease of use. He cleans 2 boxes in half the time that it use to take.

This sifter works flawless. I don't get some of the reviews I read before buying this? Some complaints were that it wasn't sturdy or fell apart? Makes me wonder if the forgot to insert the metal legs before using it. I can empty two large kitty litter pans in this thing without any issues? I don't have any issues at all and it works as designed.

I'm an old woman. Hunkering down to clean out litterboxes is hard on my knees, hips, back: every place I have arthritis. I find this takes a little more upper body strength, but no more than when I change the litter. For me, it's overall easier, and my cats have cleaner boxes.

Having to pick up the litterbox can be straining for certain individuals so make sure you can pick up yours prior to buying. Beats bending over and scooping endlessly. Pick up dump, maybe free some stuck bits and done. Saved a ton on litter now too. It's a win win.

This has made such a huge difference in our litter box changing routine. With this sifting system, it takes less than 5 minutes for a very thorough clean, and so much less messy and smelly than scooping. Highly recommend. I’ll never scoop litter again.

So, 5 stars immediately because it does exactly what it says: makes it easy to sift the litter. The whole box at once, not one scoop at a time. No digging, bending over box for several minutes, just pour it in the sifter, empty that into a waste container, pour the sifted litter back in the box and top with fresh litter as needed. It took me 2 minutes to clean a very dirty litter box.My concerns: I'm in a small condo with little storage space, which makes stashing this between sittings a challenge. While it is easy to assemble, it's not something you'd want to do every time you use it. (It doesn't fold up, it has to be taken apart & put back together.) I'll manage, it works too well for that to be a deal breaker! I also wonder long-term about smell retention, even though any waste or sifted litter sits in it for just minutes, I'd think over time it might start to smell. A regular quick wipe down is probably going to be needed.Overall, I think it will be very useful and NY cats will enjoy cleaner boxes with more regular, fast, & thorough cleanings.

I've always wanted a litter solution like this. It's perfectly appropriate and useful. I also got a separate bucket to pour the waste in, so I can carry it from litter box to litter box (3 boxes, one for each cat). It's more than big enough. It doesn't smell, because you pour the litter right out after.

I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes. The sift ease is easy to use, and it helps me to keep my litter boxes cleaner. Keeping odor down is a first priority for me, and it is healthier for my cats. I would recommend the sift ease to any that has an inside cat. And I received my order just like it was promised. Thank you

Was this sorta expensive for it to be used for a litter box? Yes. Is it worth every penny? Yes!!I have a bunch of cats, and 5 litter boxes in my home. This is so much better than scooping by hand. It’s less up close and personal to cat poop, and much faster too! Easy to use, built well, and makes me more likely to clean the litter boxes more often, leading to less stink. Highly recommend for a multi litter box home.

THIS IS SN AMAZING PRODUCT. You will not put off cleaning the litter box, this will help you in smells and your cat will be happy too that you keep the box cleaner. I have chronic osteoarthritis in every joint and this makes it a lot easier and inspirational to clean the box as it is soooooo necessary. Just used this for the first time and I’m a massive convert. This is amazing! Upon first glance I thought the container was a little small but it held my entire jumbo sized box full of litter with plenty of room. Bonus, the container is the perfect size to fit in my litter box hiding bench. Bravo to the inventor and thank you for sharing with the world!

I have had cats for 30+ years now, and this product is exactly what I needed. Scooping the litter box is a pain, and those self-cleaning ones never work nearly as well as they claim. Sometimes they need the special crystal litter, sometimes they get jammed up, and they all need some type of electrical outlet nearby. I've never found one that worked well.This simple system is fantastic. Pour the litter through the grate, discard the clumps in the grate, then pour the clean litter back in the box. Takes about 1/4 of the time it takes to scoop and not nearly as much bending over. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone with cats. Great product!

I am so mad at myself for waiting so long to buy this. I saw it and put it on my list and kept not buying it. Finally moved it to my cart. This is a God-send. Really takes the chore out of litter cleaning. Daughter and I used to dread and put off cleaning the litter boxes. Now, it's so easy, there is no reason to. Highly recommend. Wish I bought it sooner.
